WHY B.TECH MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

The department was established in the year of 2001 with an undergraduate program . Department has well qualified and experience faculty members with master degree in different areas of specialization like, CAD/CAM, Production, Material Science, Automobile, Machine Design and thermal engineering. It was first department in Saurashtra region which had started master degree in CAD/CAM in 2006. The Department provides ample laboratory facilities and hands-on training to the students both in the conventional subject as also in the emerging fields of specialization. To impart the practical knowhow department is regularly arrange industrial visit, expert talk and encourage the student to take industry define projects.
